I think it really helps to have goals to keep your mind off school, so this is my small checklist for the year.
Strength Goals 2012
Term 1 Goal
(30/03/12): 100kg deadlift

Term 2 Goal(s):
100kg Squat/30kg incline chest press [develop upper chest]
[progress so far: 85kg/27.5kg]

Term 3/4 Goal(s):
80kg Bench Press (hopefully!)/60kg Standing Overhead Press [5x5]

BRING ON 2013!!! [02/02/12]
Last known: 1RM of 140kg for deadlift (x2 bodyweight), Squats: 80kg 3x3, Bench: 4x6x70kg
Goals: -Bring that squat up to 100kg!!! (19/05/13)
-Get that deadlift to x2.5 (175kg if I maintain weight)
-Get that bench up to 4x6x80kg (short-term), then aim for 90kg
